5. Duration of Use:

   • The buddy splint is typically worn for 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the injury and how well it is healing. The exact duration should be determined by a healthcare provider.
   • It's important to follow the doctor's instructions on when and how to remove the splint to avoid disrupting the healing process.

How to Apply a Buddy Finger Splint:

1. Positioning the Fingers: Place the injured finger in a neutral or slightly extended position and align it with the adjacent, healthy finger.
2. Splinting: Apply the splint to both fingers, ensuring that they are immobilized and aligned properly. Secure the splint with medical tape or bandages, but be careful not to wrap it too tightly, as this could affect circulation.
